Excellent acoustic volume and good sustain, this is Gold Tone's original banjitar. This model is exactly like the left-handed GT-750 except uses a steel tone ring (instead of brass) and a plain maple resonator (instead of curl).
Bruce Springsteen bought two of these for his 2007 European solo tour (right-handers of course)!

The GT-500 6-string banjo for guitar players is traditionally styled with a maple rim, maple resonator, maple neck and a rosewood radiused fingerboard. The unique Gold Tone SMP pick-up accenuates the bass notes and provides piercing banjo-style treble. This model has excellent acoustic volume and good sustain.
